St Elwicks...

The St Elwick’s Neighbourhood Association Newsletter Podcast is a spoof, ultra-local newsletter created and written by Mike Wozniak and produced by Joel Porter.

Set it the fictional ward of St Elwick’s in the non-fictional city of Exeter, it is hosted by Malcolm Durridge (played by Mike Wozniak) - a middle-aged, provincial, Little Englander who wants nothing more than to be regarded as a pillar of his Devonshire community.

He loves his small pond and wishes to be (and more importantly - to be seen) as a big fish in it. Unfortunately, the means he has chosen to achieve this goal is local, voluntary journalism - something he is wholly unsuited to.

St Elwick’s was launched in September 2019. Since then it has had over 1.2 million downloads and its audience is building steadily. The show has attracted some outstanding guest stars including Greg Davies, Charlotte Ritchie, Romesh Ranganathan, Isy Suttie, Jamali Maddix Stephanie Cole and James Acaster.
